National Bike Month

Join us every May as we pedal our way into a month-long celebration of biking, community engagement, and the transformative power of active transportation. National Bike Month isn't just about riding—it's about coming together to embrace the joy of biking and its positive impact on our communities.

Adult Learn-to-Ride Classes

May brings the kick off of Bike Walk Nebraska's Adult Learn-to-Ride Classes. The classes are free, two-hour sessions for adults and older teens wanting to learn or re-learn how to ride a bicycle.

The Impact of Getting Involved

National Bike Month is more than just a series of events—it's a movement.

Events are the most accessible form of advocacy and community engagement. Bike-friendly events, such as National Bike Month celebrations, have been shown to lead to policy and environmental changes within communities.

Safer streets, stronger communities— for all.
