Bike Walk Nebraska is kicking off the new year by hosting a series of informational webinars. These sessions are designed to highlight Nebraska-specific research conducted by University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty and graduate students. We'll introduce you to new tools available to help advocates work towards making safer streets. We'll also have information regarding federal policies related to transportation legislation.
The first three webinars were fantastic! If you missed them, you can catch recordings on our YouTube channel here.
Registration is now open for our last webinar in the series, National Bike Summit and Federal Policy Update. Although this year's National Bike Summit was held virtually, Julie still participated, both as an attendee and as a session moderator. Our final webinar will share "a-ha" moments of the summit and how our virtual meetings with Nebraska's members of Congress turned out. We'll also provide an update on federal transportation policy issues.
We are offering these webinars at no cost to participants, but registration is required. If you are interested in making a good will donation to offset our costs, we would appreciate it! Donations can be made here. Thanks for supporting Bike Walk Nebraska!
